27th Annual Psychology Undergraduate Conference

The University of Saskatchewan Psychology Undergraduate Research Conference has been an annual event hosted by the Department of Psychology for 27 years. In the past, senior undergraduate students from throughout Western Canada have attended and presented research from a variety of areas within the field. The conference features a keynote address from a local faculty member. A free lunch is provided for all presenters. The conference setting is casual and provides students with a unique opportunity in which to present the results of their research, and to meet and talk with other undergraduate students about research and future career plans. Conversations through Time: The Cree Wanderer

This year's meeting of the Committee on Centres and Regional Associations will take place October 5-6 at the University of Saskatchewan and Saint Thomas More College.

We are pleased to announce the theme of this year's CARA meeting, "Conversations through Time: The Cree Wanderer.” The centrepiece of the conference will be a trilingual reading of the Old English poem Swa cwæð eardstapa in Cree, Old English, and modern English. This will be followed by a round table discussing the process of translation into Cree and the ways in which it informs the text.
